The Slocum Research & Education Foundation is pleased to announce the upcoming event "Concussion Conference 2017: Sport-Related Concussion Care" on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017; 8:00a - 12:30p at the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Eugene, Oregon. Concussion in the pediatric population is a growing concern for many health care providers as well as within the community. A multidisciplinary approach is necessary for the best patient outcome. This includes not only medical-based practice, but also community based resources. We aim to provide attendees with the knowledge base of best practices and available resources necessary for the treatment of pediatric sport-related concussion.
